Caleb and Rae met in January 2023. They hit it off immediately, but sadly didn't run into each other again for two months! They finally got a chance to talk again at a Baylor worship night (which Rae now freely admits she attended purely in the hopes of seeing him). They sat together, chatted, and laughed when it started to rain, and Caleb knew that he couldn't pass up another opportunity to ask her out.

The following Sunday, he got his chance! Rae and Caleb ended up sitting near each other at church, and after barely hearing a word of the sermon, Caleb asked Rae out--in the middle of a conversation that included two of her friends. :)

The following year and a half was filled with plenty of fun, adventures, and growth as they got to know each other better and realized that they could hang out forever!

Caleb proposed to Rae in August, and March 8 can't come soon enough!
